The property is centrally located on the island and features a short walk to the best beach access on Fripp. The driveway has ample parking for multiple vehicles and the oversized lot offers plenty of shade on hot summer days.
As you enter the home you are greeted with modern decor and an open concept living design. The screened in porch and decks offer outside entertainment and the home includes a propane grill, electric golf cart, corn hole boards, kayaks, beach chairs, surfboard, 4 bikes and many more items for our guests to use.
The home includes two first level bedrooms with a connecting bathroom. First room has a queen size bed with a spacious closet. Next room has two double beds. The upstairs primary master bedroom is spacious and features a private balcony, and a primary bathroom. The second bedroom upstairs features a twin bed with a pull-out trundle twin bed as well a full work-from-home desk setup. Each bedroom is also equipped with Smart TV's and the home has free high speed internet access. Downstairs living space has a 60inch smart tv and a comfortable sofa for additional sleeping.
There are only 4 steps up to get into the home making it one of the more accessible homes on the island! We also have a handicap shower grab bar in the downstairs bathroom.
Pet Friendly!! $100 for first pet, $50 each additional Pet
- Amenity Cards available for purchase. A 12.8% resort fee (% of booking price before taxes/fees) plus In-season $50/week per card (or $35 for 1-3 days). Out of season: $35/week ($25 / for 1-3 days) off season. In-Season is Memorial Day through Labor Day. Children 12 and under do not need a card, but must be accompanied by an adult with a Club card. Off season use of the cards may be quite limited with pools closed in Fall and access to restaurants limited.
- One 4-seater golf cart will also be provided at no additional charge for comfortable, easy access to any location on the island. (Additional golf carts may be purchased from local providers).

Other Fees
Rates do not include a 11% state/county tax and a 1% island fee. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change.
Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until a deposit and a signed Rental Agreement is received.

All major credit cards accepted. Also accepted: eCheck (Electronic check).
Cancellation and Refunds
If you cancel, no refund unless house can be re-rented. In the case of a Mandatory evacuation of the Island due to hurricane, storms or other, we will accommodate any unused days to another available time, or we will refund the remainder of the rent. To insure your vacation investment we do offer Travel Insurance protection.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Kitchen had all we needed…Home is only two blocks to beach access-golf cart a plus and bicycles! Trails are lovely. Granddaughter took lots of pictures of Pogue Shack signs ??
It’s hard to ever be disappointed in such a wonderful place like Fripp, but the icing on the cake is finding a gem of a property to make it that much more perfect! We absolutely fell in love with 700 Winter Trout road. It truly had everything you could ask for amenity wise and the proximity to the beach was wonderful! Was literally a 3 min walk from the boardwalk!!! Thank you again for such a special week of family memories we created! We will most definitely be back!!!
Our vacation at the Pogue Shack was exactly what we needed! It was clean, cozy, and convenient to the beach. Just a few blocks away with plenty of golf cart parking. We didn’t ride in a car from the time we got there until the time we left. Would definitely stay again!
