472 Tarpon is a beautiful oceanfront property with amazing beach access and newly renovated interior. Beginning September 4, 2024, this island home will offer 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms with room for up to 20 guests. Until then, the available space is 5 bedrooms with 3 1/2 baths.
The spacious kitchen has granite countertops, all stainless appliances. With this open floor plan, leading into the bright dining and living areas, no one will be left out of family fun.
The upper level of the house is configured with two bedrooms on one side of the house and two on the other with the kitchen, dining and living rooms situated in between. Each side shares a full-size bathroom. The primary bedroom has a king size bed and doors that open to a deck with a gorgeous beach view. Also, on the beach side, is a king guest bedroom with doors opening to a balcony. In either location, it's a magnificent place to enjoy early morning coffee or afternoon cocktails.
Located on ground level, is a mother-in-law suite featuring a queen bed, TV, DVD player, as well as a full bath with a beautiful walk in shower.
As of September 4, 2024, the full renovation will be available; however, until then, the new, additional space is locked off. Once available, 3 additional bedrooms and additional baths make this a next-level, large home. The new bedrooms consist of: full sized bedroom with ensuite bath, queen bedroom with hallway access to shared bath and another queen bedroom with ensuite access to shared bath.
Golf carts may be rented from Island Excursions located in the Marina. What a great way to cruise Fripp and take in all the amenities and wildlife the island has to offer....or, drive the cart to the beach, and stop for a snack at Island Bites! This is how most like to travel while on Fripp Island.
Fripp Island Club cards are available for purchase. These cards are required to visit restaurants, pools, play golf or tennis, and enjoy Resort activities.
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.

Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until a deposit and a signed Rental Agreement is received.

Cancellation and Refunds
Should you wish to cancel this reservation, notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. We will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s), if paid by credit card. If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.
The property fits our needs well as a family. The bathrooms need to be updated badly though. The lighting is honestly terrible in all bathrooms. The bedrooms could use some better storage space (actual dressers would be nice) and mirrors. But, the location is perfect, the deck is great and the beach is right there.

The house looks great now, everything is new and updated.
We stayed at this beautiful property 6/10-6/17/23 and had an excellent stay. Upon arriving, we walked in the entrance and up the stairs and were immediately awed by the stunning ocean view seen through the living room windows. Ownership of the house had just changed prior to our arrival, so there were some initial issues with Wi-Fi but the property manager was resolute at getting it resolved in a timely manner. She was very responsive to our questions. We can't wait to stay here again!
This beach home met our family's needs beautifully. It is on the beach, has plenty of space for large groups (we had 9), and is well equipped. The common space needs more light at night and the oven did not hold to temp. No other complaints. we loved our time in Fripp.
The house is an absolute masterpiece on the ocean at Fripp. The management company did EVERYTHING possible to make sure our vacation went well all the way to shipping back some clothes we forgot. Everything was simply PERFECT!
We had a great week at 472 Tarpon. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our needs. The lower level bathroom shower needs a glass door as the floor gets soaked with any shower. Then the whole room stays moist. We loved the proximity to the beach. The railing on the left side steps is wobbly and needs tightened. Gorgeous location and great home.

great location property manager was very helpful.Only issue was that there was no gas grill but property manager came through. House was great for my family
Everything was wonderful. The living area space allowed for plenty of room for us all to be together but also space enough for small groups to gather. The kitchen was very well equipped. The multiple bedrooms were nicely furnished with the necessities--all that was needed. My family had a fabulous time in this well-kept vacation home. Marnie, our guest rep, was extremely responsive and helpful with our minor electric problem.
