Ring in the New Year with a variety of activities including a New Year's eve bash.
Easter
Celebrate Easter with us on Fripp Island Resort. Activities include: crafts, nature excursions, even a breakfast with the Easter Bunny himself and of course the weekend would not be complete without a giant Easter Egg Hunt at Ocean Point Golf Links with a concert by Rick Hubbard and his All-Star Kazoo Band. Ask about personal Easter bunny basket deliveries!
Memorial Day
Memorial Day marks the start of the Summer season! Kick it off right and get "Beach Bound" with us this Memorial Day Weekend. What better way to start your summer than lounging on the beach, live entertainment, BBQ, nature excursions and even a Luau. If lounging on the beach isn't exciting enough for you sign up for our Annual Memorial Weekend fishing tourney and try your luck catching King Mackerel, Dolphin, Wahoo and Grouper! You have been waiting on summer for a long time, make sure and start it off right on Fripp Island Resort.
The 4th of July
Make your reservations early for this coveted holiday on Fripp Island. In 2005 the island optained the necessary permits to provide a spectacular fireworks show. It was nothing short of spectacular. This is probably the most requested week on the island, so make plans now to visit Fripp Island around the 4th of July. Other July 4th related events include: a beach volleyball tournament, sand sculpting contest, art and craft show, talent show, karaoke contests, putting contests, tennis mixers, horse shoe tournament, nightly entertainment and don't miss the parade. Decorate your golf cart, bike, scooter or yourself and enter this annual themed event followed by a kids carnival complete with games, face painting, watermelon eating contests and more.
The 2016 theme is "Holidays on Wheels"
Deck out your cart for your favorite holiday! Do you go nuts for Halloween? Do you go Easter egg crazy? Are you the Clark Griswold in your neighborhood at Christmas?
Show off your holiday spirit and enter our golf cart parade. As always, we will have a patriotic category. We can't wait to see what you come up with!
Fripp Fest Weekend (1st weekend in October)
Be sure to make reservations for one of our favorite Fripp Island weekends, Frippfest Weekend. Get ready for a weekend action packed with excitement, there is something for the whole family: Glow in the Dark scavenger Hunt, Golf specials, our annual sanctioned 5k run/walk, Golf cart poker run and the annual Trolley Pub Crawl and make sure to ask about discounts on accommodations if you are entering our 5k race.
Thanksgiving & Santas Arrival
On the Friday following Thanksgiving bring the kids and welcome Santa to Fripp Island. Santa arrives at dusk and will be available for photos. While awaiting the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus, gather at The Beach Club and enjoy hot cider and other goodies. Now is also the perfect time to get some of your holiday shopping done at our annual craft fair. Don't forget to stop in the children only gift shop that Santa and the Elves have taken over at the Olympic Pool Village next to the Beach Club. It's the perfect spot for kids to get Christmas presents for family and friends. If you can't make it to Santa's arrival then be sure to catch him at our annual breakfast with Santa at the Beach Club on Saturday morning but please make reservations.
Golf Tournaments
Golf is an ongoing event on Fripp Island. Golf tournaments begin in January and run through December. Every month has at least one golf event to enter or watch.
Tennis Tournaments
The Fripp Island Racquet Club hosts many tournaments throughout the year, for players of every age and skill level. Their calendar includes sanctioned spring and fall tournaments, a fall college invitational that includes nationally-ranked women's teams, regular tennis socials, and just-for-fun mixers in winter.
