Do you need a quiet weekend or week getaway? This secluded Treehouse is a great place to unwind. The Treehouse is a 2 bedroom 2 bath relaxing getaway that sits 10 feet up in the trees for a spectacular view of the Marsh. With floor to ceiling windows every spot in the Treehouse is a wonderful eye into nature. See birds flying over the marsh, Fiddler crabs crawling in the sand, deer and raccoons walking just several feet below. Relax on the large deck in the fresh cool breeze from the marsh.
The beach is just a few minutes away in a relaxing 4 passenger golf cart provided by Beaufort Carts(included with rental over a $250.00 value). Enjoy playing the two excellent golf courses or playing tennis on one of the 10 courts. Fripp Island also has 9 pools to choose from along with many other great outdoor activities. You can do as much or little as you want to do during your peaceful Island vacation. Great for Honeymooners, anniversaries, small families, golfers getaway weekend or even for a month during the winter to leave the cold north behind.
Pets are not allowed in this property. No Exceptions. The owner has severe allergies.

Amenities
Fripp Island Club cards may be purchased. The cost during peak season is $50 / week for adults 13 years or older. Kids 12 and under do not need cards.
A new 12.8% of the total rent resort fee will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual club cards for access to the resort amenities.
This property includes the use of a golf cart with a signed rental agreement with Beaufort Carts.

Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until a deposit and a signed Rental Agreement is received.

Cancellation and Refunds
Should you wish to cancel this reservation, notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. We will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s), if paid by credit card. If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.

We just returned from our vacation on Fripp and stayed in your treehouse and we had a great vacation. We love Fripp because of the many things to do, the freedom the kids had, the many pools, places to eat and the slowness of the life style on the island (no faster than a golf cart!!!). We enjoyed the treehouse. It was a perfect size and the location was great because it was quiet and had great views. The golf cart was a nice convenience as well as the ammenity cards. It was also so very nice to meet you in person as well.
We've enjoyed your treehouse here at Fripp tremendously. We caught about a dozen crab off the crab dock and one was the largest I've ever seen. He had algea growing on him so we figured he was an old soul. We let him go but we made dip out of all the others.
The island is really a nice place with so many deer it's unbelievable. The beach is great and we met Oscar the alligator that lives at the entrance of the back part of the island. He's huge. Thank you for giving to the church and enabling us to have this experience. The kids favorite was, of course, the beach.
Our last day will be spent at the beach and cabana club pool.

We had a great time!
Thank you for the amenity cards and the golf cart. This was our first time at Fripp Island and we will definitely return very soon. the very best dining we had was Plums in Beaufort. We also had a good dinner at Boondocks. If you just want a good burger, Luthers in Beaufort is good. Access at #31 was the best! Good fishing and we had the beach to ourselves almost everyday. Access #19 is also good if you want an easy walk and a wider beach at hid tide. The best pool was the adult pool at the Beach Club. We also had great sunrises from the dining room.

We enjoyed our week here. Our favorite meals were at Plums, Emily's, and Beteaux. We loved the privacy of the treehouse, and we enjoyed the nature that surrounded us. We took advantage of easy day trips to Savannah and Charleston and loved relaxing in Beaufort. Do not miss the Chocolate Tree!
What a great week. The golf cart was so much fun. The kids loved using it to look at the deer every night until dark. The treehouse was very private and the views were awesome. We look forward to next year already.

We had a great week in the Treehouse. We loved Fripp Island, the beach, easy golf cart transportation, and nature around us. It is a beautiful island and very relaxing. We enjoyed Boondocks and the Old Beuford Walking Tour. Your treehouse is very comfortable. We would love to return, wishing Va. was closer....was well worth the trip.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in the tree-house on Fripp. This was our third visit to the island. Each time we leave looking forward to our next return, this time was no different. We enjoyed dinner in Beaufort, once at Plum's and twice had the best pizza prepared by Myron at Panini's. Johnson Creek Tavern also has a great menu and is close to the Island. We stayed in for dinner a few nights as well and enjoyed fresh shrimp from the White Shrimp Company. We met several wonderful people and one extraordinary couple who live just a few houses down from the tree-house. The kids love the pool, beach and looking at all of the deer from the golfcart. We were able to see a few alligators as well as a pairs of osprey tending to their babies. All in all a great vacation.

Kent, Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your wonderful treehouse! We had an absolutely fabulous time on Fripp Island! The kids loved the Nature Cruise on the Fripper II where we spotted dolphins and went shelling on Pritchards Island. We so enjoyed riding on the golf cart in the evenings and viewing all the deer, some raccoons but never spotted the alligators. Our favorite restaurants were Dockside and Emilys (the best shrimp grits!). Several nights we got shrimp from Gay's Seafood and enjoyed our dinner on the deck with the spectacular view. We will definitely be back as our family enjoyed this vacation tremendously! The Bikes are great. We enjoyed those!

Dear Kent, Enjoyed Feb. & March in your marsh home. Even though it was a fair winter up North it was much nicer here. Able to walk in ocean, view wildlife in marsh & see many alligators although it was early from there normal appearance. Fripp makes a good point to begin trips to Charleston, Hilton Head, Savannah, and even Beaufort area but an even better place to return to. No matter where we drove to, it felt like coming home when we approached your home on Fiddlers Ridge Rd. Thanks again!

My wife and I stayed here 2 years ago for our honeymoon and it was great. Beautiful scenery, tucked away and quiet. We have been back to Fripp since then and we always look to see if this is available first.
We had such a great week in the treehouse! This was my 4th time at the island and it's always perfect! We love the deer and seeing the alligators laid out on the edge of the ponds. The weather was great and only rained for about 10 minutes the whole time. Some friends came with us and they loved it too! The house was in a great location and very nice! Loved the electric golf cart! Would love to revisit some day!
Best marsh view on the island. So quiet and tucked back. We didn't want to leave. We enjoyed the first part of the week kid-free as we celebrated our anniversary and then our elementary age kids joined us for the second half. It was perfect for both. I'm already dreaming of our return!

This is the first time staying in a treehouse on the marsh side of the island. It had spectacular views and was very quiet compared to where we have stayed before. We loved having windows all around and could see much more of the natural wildlife on the island also. Being close to the crabbing dock was really neat too. Did not know it existed until we stay here. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, and Kay was wonderful to talk with if we did need anything, especially when it came to the pesky racoons that liked the trash can. We will be back.

We love this location! The owner and manager have been very helpful and kind to us. This is our second time staying in December. We are giving it four stars this year because it was not as clean as last year, or as clean as we would expect from a rental at this price point. I related the specifics to the management. The decor is dated, but the treehouse is cozy and kept in good repair. The master bedroom mattress is new & very comfortable. The sofa is not very comfortable, but I've got old bones, I guess. We only used the dishwasher once because it was very loud. The views of the marsh are fabulous. It is one of the most secluded locations on Fripp because Fiddlers Ridge winds north into the marsh. Excellent for birdwatching! We highly recommend this location as a low EMF refuge, since the owner is EMF aware and helpful.
The treehouse my brother and I rented was clean and comfortable and afforded a grand view of the Fripp Island marsh. We spent hours on the inviting deck when the wind drove us from the beach. The house is small but ideal for two people. One caution: the spiral staircase makes the house unsuitable for small children. Moreover, I wish the rental information had warned us about the necessity of having an amenity card from the Fripp Island resort. Without it one cannot eat at the restaurants on the island. The card is difficult to obtain if you don't sign up for it when you rent the place and quite expensive. My brother and I did not get cards but found good restaurants off island.
873 Fiddlers Trace is an adorable, cozy "treehouse" on Fripp. With amazing marsh views, and wildlife right outside your door, it's tranquil, relaxing, and homey. It's far enough away from "the action" to let you relax and unwind in peace, but a short golf cart ride puts you wherever you want to be, whether it's the beach for a day in the sun, center island for the Adult Pool or Sandbar, end of Tarpon for a magical sunset, or the Cabana Club for a bite and a swim. We loved our stay, and would definitely stay again!
