Summer is a magnificent time on Fripp Island! Why not take the opportunity to stay only 500 ft to the entrance to the most beautiful beach on the Island! Location and comfort are key to our delightful home! You can hear the waves from the screened in porch!
We are so excited to host you and know that whether you come with your immediate or extended family or good friends, we are sure you will want to return. Relax on the spacious screened in porch and feel the ocean breezes and sounds of the swaying palms, or have your morning coffee on the open deck. The main floor includes a cheerful living room, 3 bedrooms (King, Queen and 2 Twins (plus one extra mattress to pull out if needed), updated bathrooms (1 in primary, 1 other on main floor) and updated fully equipped kitchen, all wood floors throughout. Washer and dryer are conveniently located on the main floor as well.
Beautiful, newly renovated downstairs studio/1 BR apartment has a private entrance and is equipped with one queen bed and a sofa bed, full bathroom, full kitchen including refridgerator/freezer, electric range/oven, coffee maker and microwave and toaster. There is plenty of room for cars under the carport or one of two driveways. The home is equipped with an outdoor gas grill, beach chairs, umbrella, pack and play (if needed), and outdoor shower, and plenty of games and puzzles. Upper deck is a plus to see the stars or peak through view of the ocean. Sheets and bathroom towels are provided. Please bring your favorite beach towels.
Nature abounds in every direction from our home and we are sure that you will awaken to the orchestra of birds and deer strolling in the morning. As you make your way on the short walk to the beach, you will see an abundance of sea life all around you. Our beaches are pristine and beautiful and are just waiting for you to visit.
This home offers Fripp Island Resort club cards for purchase and resort fee for use of the resort amenities (pools, golf, tennis facilities, and some restaurants).
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.

Payments & Policies
Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit (preferably by e-check) is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until a deposit and signed Rental Agreement are received.
Payment Methods
All major credit/debit cards are accepted. A 2.9% transaction fee is charged by the credit card processing company. Electronic checks, or eChecks, are also accepted. No transaction fee is charged for eCheck processing.
Cancellation and Refunds
Notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. If paid via credit card, we will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s).
If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.

What a wonderful home! Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 603 Dolphin. It was spotless when we arrived, the home is welcoming and comfortable, and the kitchen is perfect for families like us who enjoy cooking most of our meals in. We didn’t lack for a single thing as we prepared our meals. The quick and easy walk to the beach is so convenient. I highly recommend this rental for your family to enjoy Fripp in a place that feels like home! We loved it!
This was our 16th year on Fripp, and the best house we've stayed at. You can tell it's a labor of love. There is a lot of thought in maintaining this home. Kitchen was well stocked. Home had beach chairs and wagon. There is home WIFI and bedside chargers. The house was exceptionally clean and no sight of bugs. The top floor deck was amazing for star gazing. Owner very responsive and helpful! Great rental and would definitely stay at Sandbox again.
This property is wonderful! The owner and property manager are so kind and responsive! The home is clean, has a very well equipped kitchen, and the spaces are comfortable and easy for families. Access to the beach is a quick 2 minute walk! We have stayed here twice and already booked for next summer.
The location was fantastic! We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach daily. Access 15 is one of the best on the island, very flat and easy to walk and just a short walk from the house. The owner and house manager were very responsive and accommodating! The downstairs apt. is very nice and allowed our family members privacy during our stay. The screen porch was our favorite spot to relax and enjoy early mornings and late evenings listening to the waves! The house was great, kitchen well equipped to cook family meals. No negatives at all but a recommendation would be to have TVs in all bedrooms. We will definitely try to stay in this home for our future Fripp trips!

Another wonderful stay at 603 Dolphin! This home has all you need to enjoy a family week at the beach. The location is a quick walk to the sand. The kitchen is perfect for eating in. The main bedroom bed is so comfy! Our kids enjoyed playing board games on the screened porch. This was our third summer staying in this home and we are already booked, just hubby and I, to enjoy a stay in the downstairs studio apartment this fall!
We absolutely loved our stay at the Sandbox been coming to Fripp for 18 years and this was the best home by far to stay at. It had everything you would need to enjoy your vacation. Loved the screened in porch and listening to the wind chime. The apartment was gorgeous and a great addition. We will definitely stay here again. Carol was amazing to work with. ??

A comfortable, well furnished home with the added bonus of a beautifully updated downstairs apartment. There’s plenty of top quality cookware, dishes, glassware, and top line appliances. LARGE capacity washer and dryer. The big plus for us was the location: the handicapped accessible beach entrance is less than 1/2 block away. This allows you to drive a golf cart to your beach spot/ tent, unload your gear, and then park your cart at one of several designated handicap parking spots. (You can get a handicap cart pass at check-in). The screened porch is large with comfortable seating, a picnic table, and ceiling fans. There are plenty of beach chairs, kids’ toys, and an enclosed outdoor shower. This house simply has it all, including a very nice host! I highly recommend!
