The first beach access is less than 5 minutes from your doorstep. For younger guests seeking a break from salt and sand, Davis Love Park offers the perfect playground oasis. Basketball and volleyball courts, playground equipment, and even a pirate ship, there's no shortage of fun to be had.
After a sun-kissed day of beachside fun, pull around to the back of the house to unload the beach chairs, seashell souvenirs, and take care of those sandy feet at the outdoor shower before heading upstairs for dinner. At the Marsh Mellow, your every culinary whim is catered to with a well-equipped kitchen. Prefer a backyard culinary experience? Grab some burgers or steaks and toss them on the propane grill or go low and slow on the classic charcoal grill. Dinner's ready! Grab family/friends and meet in the dining room where there's room for 4 at the round table and 2 more can belly up to the bar. If you prefer to enjoy the evening breeze, move dinner outside to the rear balcony where there's seating for 4 at the outdoor dining table.
After dinner, unwind with a Netflix movie on the 65" flat screen, surf the web via the high-speed internet, or opt for a more scenic view by grabbing your favorite beverage and heading out to the front-side balcony, where you can marvel at the sunset just behind the Marina Store and Deli. With seating for 2, and an invigorating breeze, it's the perfect spot to savor the moment. Sunset also marks the ideal time to embark on an island adventure on the golf cart. Club cards are not required to access the beach, crabbing dock, Wardle's Landing pier, island parks, shops, the Marina deli or Springtide market. The community center activities also do not require a card.

- Location - The Marsh Mellow is located mid-island, at the end of Bonito Road, in the Marina. This is a great location that places the home in close proximity to all the fun! We're just a quick 5-minute golf cart ride to the beach and equally close to Dabvis Love Park. Nestled between the marsh and Fripp Inlet to the east, the Marsh Mellow boasts unparalleled sunrise views, while to the west, the Marina with partial sunset views.
- Layout - At the front of the house, a gated entrance ensures privacy to a secluded courtyard. Ascending the stairs, the front door opens to a convenient drop zone, perfect for shedding your shoes before entering the main living area. To the left, you'll find the kitchen, dining room, and a balcony offering picturesque views of the Marina. On the right, the family room and the rear balcony. Nestled between the kitchen and family room is a convenient half-bath. Upstairs, both bedrooms await. A small landing separates two nearly identical master suites, each boasting a king-size bed and private ensuites. Below the main living space, the garage houses bicycles, boogie boards, beach chairs, and the golf cart. Just outside the garage and to the left, is the outdoor shower.
- Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped to ease meal prep with all the essentials at your fingertips. In addition to the standard pots, pans, utensils, cups, and plates, we go above and beyond. You'll discover a blender, hot plate, casserole dishes, toaster, wine glasses, cork screw, lobster pot, seafood crackers, and more to cater to your culinary needs.
- Family Room - The family room comfortably accommodates up to six people, ensuring everyone can relax in style. There's a 65” Smart TV to keep you updated on all your favorite Netflix shows, while a soundbar enhances the audio experience for maximum enjoyment.
- Rear Balcony - The rear balcony offers seating for 4 and a high-top table where you can enjoy a meal or game night while soaking up the sights and sounds of the salt life and on clear nights, you’ll not find a better location for star gazing and when it comes to sunrise, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better location on the island. Set your alarm for an unforgettable show!
- Bedrooms - At the Marsh Mellow, both bedrooms are luxurious master suites, boasting nearly identical dimensions. Each features a comfortable king-size bed, private ensuite bathroom, and abundant windows that flood the space with natural light. The front-side bedroom offers a charming view of the Marina, where you can enjoy a partial view of the sunset in the evenings. Meanwhile, the rear bedroom boasts a spectacular panorama through its expansive picture window, showcasing the beauty of Fripp Inlet and the marsh. Pull back the shades at night for a mesmerizing stargazing experience and wake up to the gentle embrace of the sunrise, all from the comfort of your own bed!
- Pets - We recognize the importance of your furry companions, as we are pet lovers ourselves. In our commitment to accommodating your four-legged family members, we welcome well-behaved small to medium-sized dogs, with prior approval. To ensure a seamless experience for all guests, we kindly ask that you sign a pet agreement and pay a non-refundable $150 pet fee for the first dog, with an additional $75 for a second dog. No more than two dogs allowed on the property. Please note that guests bringing dogs without prior approval will be subject to an additional $300 charge. Our goal is to create a pet-friendly environment where both you and your beloved companions can enjoy a memorable stay.

Payments & Policies
Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation plus a $500 refundable damage deposit or rental insurance. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until a deposit and a signed Rental Agreement is received.

Cancellation and Refunds
Should you wish to cancel this reservation, notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. We will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s), if paid by credit card. If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.

861 Bonito was fantastic for our long weekend! We had all the kitchen supplies for hosting a meal with friends. Grill was amazing and the golf cart was premium! It is next door to the cart rental office, so it can be busy but it wasn’t a negative for us. Very clean and well equipped unit!
We've visited Fripp at least once a year since 2015, always renting through the resort. This was the first time renting from an outside party and it our experience was top notch. The property itself was extremely clean, decorated for the season (which my kids enjoyed), and the golf cart that came with the property was very nice. We did have an issue with the hot water, but it was repaired in under 2 hours which was a pleasant suprise considering it was a New Years Eve. We will definitely return to that property and use FrippIslandStay for future trips to the Island.

Great stay, everything was updated and fresh. Very high quality.
We stayed at 861 Bonito during October. The house was very clean and well furnished. I was concerned about noise from the Marina but it wasn’t a problem at all. There are quite a few interior steps, so keep that in mind if you have small children. We go to Fripp 3 times per year so we have stayed in many different homes. This is one of our favorites. Would definitely stay here again.
