Nestled privately on the tranquil Marshland in the heart of Fripp Island, Live Oak Cottage is a charming southern home, offering easy access to everything Fripp Island has to offer.
This property has amazing views of the marsh; a full width screened porch is the perfect place to see nature and enjoy amazing sunsets. Another treasure on this property is the grand 100-year-old Live Oak tree seen prominently in the front yard.
Situated just off Bonito Drive, it offers easy and quick access to the beach, the Marina, Ocean Creek Golf Course, the Beach Club, the Cabana Club, the Racquet Club and more. This lovely Lowcountry secluded hideaway has everything you need to relax after a day of exploring.
A large, comfy living room has plenty of seating and a cozy fireplace. Perfect for movie nights or spending time with family. The well-appointed eat-in kitchen has everything you need to prepare quick snacks and “at-home” meals. A separate dining room offers additional seating for family dinner nights. A dining table on the screened porch provides for alfresco dining. There is a half-bath on the main level as well.
A main-level primary features a queen bed and opens to the screened porch. A full, ensuite bath makes for the perfect, peaceful retreat.
Upstairs brings wonderful views of the marshland and 2 more spacious bedrooms plus a bonus room. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV, a queen-sized bed plus a single bed. The bonus room has a large flat-screen TV and a comfortable daybed that quickly turns into a king-sized double bed made up of two twin xl's.
A 6-seat golf cart is included with your rental (excluding monthly rentals). Head out and explore all that Fripp has to offer, from dining to tennis, golf and great activities. Tootling around the island is the best way to see all the amazing nature and wildlife on the coast.

PETS MUST BE PREAPPROVED. You will be asked to sign a pet agreement and pay a non refundable $150 pet fee for the first pet and $75 for a 2nd pet. An additional $300 will be charged for guests that show up with a dog without approval.
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.

Payments & Policies
Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until the Rental Agreement(s) have been accepted and a deposit received.
Payment Methods
All major credit/debit cards are accepted. A 2.9% transaction fee is charged by the credit card processing company. Electronic checks, or eChecks, are also accepted. No transaction fee is charged for eCheck processing.
Cancellation and Refunds
Notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. If paid via credit card, we will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s).
If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.

We just completed our third stay at this lovely home. It is beautiful, comfortable, and doesn't feel like a rental property. This is a vacation home. It is tucked back in a quiet area surrounded by marshes, so the views are outstanding. The sunrise on the marsh is hard to beat. Three sides of the house are porches, so outside time is perfect and comfortable . If you are looking for a lovely place to relax and escape, this home is perfect. The location is central to the beaches and the marina. Everything is just a quick golf cart ride away.
What a beautiful home! Our family was very comfortable and had the best time on our vacation during the Christmas holidays at 803 Sea Bass Drive. The house is appointed with very comforable furnishings that made our stay so very relaxing. The kitchen was perfect to cook our holiday meals and celebrate the holidays as a family and the large open family room was fantastic for celebrating as a family. The porches and views of the marsh are breathtaking, but the privacy that the house offers is what really makes it so special, while at the same time it is close to everything on the island and super centrally located to everything we wanted to do. So glad we found this house and our family will be back again! Our family loves Fripp Island and loves this house!
Our family was very excited to rent 803 Sea Bass during the week between Christmas and New Year's. The weather was perfect, but the home was what made our visit so special. The house is very well appointed with nice and comfortable furniture, books, games, and art. But the views from the back deck out onto the marsh are what made it so enjoyable for our family. The house is very private surrounded by marshland and empty lots making our vacation a splendid getaway. We will be back and will rent 803 Sea Bass again this year. Thank you for your wonderful home.
My family had such a great time at Fripp and this house is just perfect for our two families that came on vacation together this year. The house is close to everything but yet it is tucked away on a private road in the middle of beautiful marsh lands. The sunsets are spectacular and there is plenty of room in the house for everyone with the bedrooms being extra large. Can’t say enough good things about Fripp and this house! We already booked this same house for our vacation again here next year! A family tradition now!! Love it!!
My family and I have been coming to Fripp for years and renting the same property because it met our needs. Because of COVID, we had to switch up our routine and try another rental property. We loved our old rental, but 803 Sea Bass is our new favorite spot. It is close enough to the beach to walk, but off of the main road. It is so quiet on the marsh and has amazing views. It is the perfect size for our family even if we have a couple extras join us. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home even. We spent most of our time relaxing on the back porch watching and listening to the wildlife in the marsh. Truly serene.
If I could rate this home more than five stars I absolutely would. The home was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. You get great views of the marsh from the wraparound porch and large interior windows. I will not be staying anywhere else on future trips to Fripp Island! We have spent several vacations on Fripp Island over the years, however this house is the best location and most comfortable home we have stayed in yet. There was plenty of room for our 3 children, the house was private and tucked away in the marsh, but still close to everything to do on the island. The views of the marsh and the wrap around porches are just fantastic to just sit and relax and watch from sunup to sundown. The house was beautifully decorated which made us feel like we were in a home rather than a rental property. Next time we return to Fripp, we will certainly return to this house to rent again.
