If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.
This house will consider preapproved pets in the for a pet fee of $150/pet each ( preaproved only please)..

Should you wish to cancel this reservation, notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. We will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s), if paid by credit card. If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.

My husband and I immediately felt like we had been swept away to a coastal gem! The views of the beach and ocean are beyond spectacular. The decor throughout the home gives a classy beach vibe while being extremely comfortable and welcoming. Getting around on the island was so easy and FUN with the golf carts included! We played both well-maintained golf courses with beautiful ocean views, absolutely amazing. It is the perfect location for an easy walk to the beach, adult pool, fitness center, and Sandbar. It was our first time visiting this part of Lowcountry and we look forward to returning to this fantastic home in years to come to create more wonderful memories! 5 ++++ Stars:)

I went on a golf trip the last week of March of this year. I stayed at 705 Rock Beauty, Fripp Island with five buddies. The house was awesome! It was spacious, well decorated and furnished. The bedrooms were very comfortable each with a private full bath and each located away from the common areas if you want quiet time. The common areas were great, especially the kitchen, the decks overlooking the ocean and the grilling area. The golf was GREAT! Many nearby challenging and scenic courses. In summary, it was a great time. Many fun days golfing followed by relaxation at a beautiful house with amenities that are second to none.

Had an opportunity the opportunity to stay at this awesome property for our annual golf trip. First class all the way. Outdoor grill/Kitchen and downstairs bar area was the perfect way to finish up the day after tearing up the course. Great memories. Looking forward to revisiting next spring.

The amenities in the home included private bedrooms / bathrooms, a great view of the ocean, plenty of space to to mingle and much more! A great outdoor grill area made for excellent dining! In addition, the downstairs bar area was spacious and comfortable! Included on the property are three electric carts for use to get around Fripp Island and head to one of multiple golf courses, which are all close by! The golf was great and challenging! Not to mention all the courses are well maintained with excellent greens! Our group loved playing here and will definitely be back! This property is a diamond in the ruff!

This was our second year staying in 705 Rock Beauty. We love the location and convenience to the beach. The house is perfect bedroom/bathroom wise. My only recommendation is another large refrigerator. We cook all our meals and not enough space for food and drinks.

We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed Calypso again! Great house and location. Only disappointment was the new amenity card tax policy… seemed like an unreasonable up charge, so we opted not to utilize the golf, pool or dining facilities… unfortunate.

Home was beautiful and very spacious. Right next to the beach which was very convenient. Comes with 2 golf carts which is a must for the Island.

Calypso Review by the Chafin family There is no way this property was "rent-ready". We could have stayed most anywhere else with good climate control and for much less. This property for us was unsafe, unsanitary and VERY uncomfortable! The property manager should have informed us of the conditions with the crushed duct before we made the journey. Definitely not worth price! Our entire family (kids & grandkids) stayed 1 week at 705 Rock Beauty Road, Fripp Island, SC August 1-8, 2026. When we arrived, immediately we noticed the place was very hot inside (76 degrees). We contacted the property manager who said that he'd never had anyone complain about it, but he'd get a technician over to look at it. He sounded disingenuous. We let him know that. Many hours later 9:20pm the HVAC tech arrived. When asked if he ever had to come to this address for any issues. His response was many times for many issues! He informed that the ducts are crushed inside the walls and it couldn't be fixed tonight. He said he’d have to tear out the walls in order to repair the "air-flow" problem. He also said that the owner and property manager have known this but have not given him authorization to perform the repairs. Needless to say, we were shocked to hear this knowing that Fripp Island Stay had rented it to us anyway. The inside temperature never met the demand the entire week. Our kids discovered unsanitary mold on the shower curtain in their bathroom. They used another bathroom. Both the downstairs showers were full of mold and had foul smells like a dead animal. On the 3rd night, my wife was using the chest by our bed when the chest fell over on top of her leaving her bruised and sore for the rest of the week. It was such a loud noise, it woke all the other guests up to see what had happened. I helped my wife up and picked up the chest and placed it back upright. Later, we discovered the manufacturer supplied "anti-tipping devices" has never been installed. These drawers were difficult to use anyway making this an unsafe condition. We discovered the mattress cover we slept on had disgusting stains on it. This same bed was broken at the support structure only held up by a couple pieces of lumber, but very unsafe. There were other items lacking cleaning such as the dryer clogged with lint, both cooking grills filthy and bird feces on the window.

Mr. Chaflin, I’m sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your stay. I would, however, like to clarify several of the concerns you raised. When I met you at the property on August 1, your check-in day, we completed a walkthrough of the property together. During that walkthrough, we reviewed the golf carts, grills, and interior of the home. At that time, I also explained that the HVAC company earlier that day but the tech did not address the issue. I advised you that they would need to return to further address the cooling issue, as the system was not maintaining the desired temperature. When the tech did return later, he found that the systems needed Freon which brought them to the desired temperatures. The duct issues were brought to our attention the same time the tech mentioned them to you. During our conversation, you specifically asked whether the previous guests had experienced any issues with the property. I informed you that they had not reported any problems during their stay. Regarding the nightstand, we investigated the concern you reported and determined that, based on its construction, condition, and sturdiness it was very unlikely to have fallen over. The owner and I both tested this by putting our weight on the front, it did not become unbalanced in any way. I also want to address the shower curtain and other concerns you mentioned. Had these issues been brought to my attention during your stay, I would have made every effort to address and resolve them promptly. As part of our initial walkthrough, we also inspected the grills, and at that time they were clean and to your satisfaction. The bed support had been reinforced, and the support is now stronger than the screws securing the bed rail. I regret that you feel your stay was unsatisfactory. However, I believe it is important to note that we were available to address concerns during your stay, and many of the issues you mentioned could have been corrected had they been brought to our attention at the time. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We will continue to address any maintenance issues identified at the property to ensure that future guests have a comfortable and satisfactory experience.
