Enjoy laid-back island living at Sunset Villa, a charming 1.5-story home in the heart of Fripp Island. The wide front porch is the perfect spot to take in beautiful sunset views, while the backyard offers a private pool, screened-in porch, and firepit for relaxing evenings and s’mores.
Inside, the open-concept living spaces create plenty of room for everyone to gather, with a comfortable seating area, dining space, and a well-equipped chef’s kitchen featuring professional-grade appliances and granite countertops.
The home has four bedrooms and three baths, with most of the living space on one level. The first floor includes a King ensuite, Queen guest room, bunk room that sleeps five, and a full guest bath. Upstairs, the primary King ensuite includes a twin daybed with trundle, along with a spacious bath featuring a double vanity, walk-in shower, and soaking tub. A pack-and-play, high chair, and playpen are also provided for families traveling with little ones.
When you're ready to explore, hop in the included four-seat golf cart and head out to enjoy all that Fripp Island has to offer. From the beach and pools to golf, tennis, pickleball, dining, and more, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained. With its mostly single-level layout, private outdoor spaces, and convenient island location, Sunset Villa makes a comfortable home base for your Fripp Island getaway.
PETS MUST BE PREAPPROVED (DOGS ONLY). You will be asked to sign a pet agreement and pay a non refundable $150 pet fee for the first pet and $75 for a 2nd pet. An additional $300 will be charged for guests that show up with a dog without approval.
Club cards are not available with this property and cannot be purchased elsewhere.

While this property does not include a Club card, there are still plenty of ways to enjoy Fripp Island and the surrounding areas! You’ll have full access to stunning beach spots, the crabbing dock, Wardle’s Landing pier, scenic island parks and the Audubon Trail. Stop by the Marina Deli or Springtide Market for a bite, or explore the Community Centre, where activities are open to all. Looking for even more adventure? Just across the bridge, Hunting Island offers pristine beaches, hiking trails, and a historic lighthouse. Or take a short drive to Lady’s Island, Beaufort and Port Royal, where charming waterfronts, historic sites, shopping and local dining await!

Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until the Rental Agreement(s) have been accepted and a deposit received.

Cancellation and Refunds
Notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. If paid via credit card, we will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s).
If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.
The perfect house in the perfect location! My family had the best time visiting Fripp Island and staying at 290 Tarpon Dr. The house is a short walk away from public beach access, the clubhouse with a restaurant, pool, fitness center and pickleball courts, and the walking/bike path is right across the street. The home was immaculately clean, beautiful and looked brand new. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking family dinners and the screened in porch, private pool and fire pit gave us tons to do. The bedroom layout, with two masters and two additional bedrooms was perfect for our multi-family getaway. We can’t wait to come back!
Our family had an absolutely fantastic stay at 290 Tarpon Blvd., on Fripp Island! The house was bright and clean, with a spacious living room - with comfortable seating for two families, which included a huge, super comfy sectional and large screen TV. The location was close to a beach and a clubhouse, which included a fitness center. We rented golf carts to tour every part of the island. We also brought our electric bikes and zipped all over. It was such a fun trip, with breathtaking sunsets, beach walks, and gator-watching. Our leisure time included relaxing on the front porch; watching deer meander through the yard, and even coming up to us. Our grandsons were delighted to feed the deer carrots out of their palms. The family meals were easy to prepare and enjoy in the well-equipped kitchen, which had seating for 10. The bedrooms were comfortable and were bright and cheery. We spent time enjoying the back screened-in porch, which had 2 long tables; providing even more eating area and room for board games and playing cards. We hope to return sometime soon to both this gorgeous island and property.
We stayed at 290 Tarpon in April 2025 and had a wonderful time in a beautiful home that has been renovated and updated within the last 6-12 months. The location was perfect at beach access #13, a 5 min walk or a 1 min golf cart ride to the beach. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the owner was quick and responsive before and during our stay. We also appreciate being able to bring our dog to a nice house and the pool was great too. Look forward to staying here in 2026!
We had the best week here! We loved the kitchen that had everything we needed to cook for a big family. The family room and screened in porch were wonderful- we could all hang out together it didn't feel at all crowded. We had grandchildren with us and they had a blast in the pool. It was much more convenient than going to one of the pools at the resort like we have done in the past. I wondered how I would like staying on the main road but the location turned out to be something that we all loved- we could easily walk to beach access 13 which made it so easy to bring children back for naps, etc. The next time we are at Fripp our whole group said this is where they would like to stay!
