Head to the coast and enjoy island living in our private villa, “Knott too Crabby.” Located in the Sandown community, this beautifully decorated property offers open concept living and great views.
From the comfortable living room, you can watch golfers on the Ocean Point golf course and enjoy the ocean views beyond. There is also a lagoon, the perfect spot to see birds like herons and egrets. The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need for family meals and quick snacks. Take your coffee out to the deck and enjoy the warm ocean breeze.
On the main floor, a large king primary suite provides great golf course and ocean views, and has a full ensuite bath with a double vanity and large tiled shower. Additionally on the main floor, there is a queen guest room and a sleeper sofa in the living room. A shared full bath is available for these guests. Upstairs is a queen guest room with full ensuite. This private guest room also boasts magnificent views of the Fripp Inlet and Ocean Point Golf Course.
When you’re ready for a dip, Sandown has a private neighborhood pool, just a few steps from the property and is available to guests.
There is parking available for three vehicles. Garage parking will accommodate cars and small SUVs only. Larger trucks and SUV’s may park in the driveway.
Explore the island in the included 4-seat golf cart and spend days in the sun. With 3.5 miles of beautiful beaches, Fripp is perfect for a relaxing getaway or an active vacation. Enjoy boating, days on the sand and fun day trips into Beaufort where you’ll find great shopping, dining, and historical destinations.
PETS MUST BE PREAPPROVED. You will be asked to sign a pet agreement and pay a non-refundable $150 pet fee for the first pet and $75 for a second pet. An additional $300 will be charged for guests that show up with a dog without approval.
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.

Payments & Policies
Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until the Rental Agreement(s) have been accepted and a deposit received.
Payment Methods
All major credit/debit cards are accepted. A 2.9% transaction fee is charged by the credit card processing company. Electronic checks, or eChecks, are also accepted. No transaction fee is charged for eCheck processing.
Cancellation and Refunds
Notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. If paid via credit card, we will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s).
If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.
