Welcome to the Merri Shark. If you haven't been to Fripp Island, you are in for a treat. Fripp boasts over 2 miles of secluded (it's even a gated community) beaches. This isn't a beach for people who like to put their towels right next to strangers. Fripp is located about 25 minutes from historic Beaufort, 65 miles north of Savannah and 96 miles from Charleston. Fripp is a major loggerhead turtle hatchery and wildlife refuge. There are many tagged wild deer, some will let you pet them, and if you're lucky you might even get to spot an alligator! The Merri Shark is located just 0.4miles from the ocean. There are plenty of board games and TVs to keep the whole family entertained. The house comes equipped with boogie boards, beach chairs, 3 bicycles, bocce ball, beach towels, coolers and other fun beach necessitites. There is a kayak available for use in the marina just 100 yeards from the house. Welcome! We hope you enjoy Fripp as much our family and friends have. Golf Cart rentals are available through We See'um golf cart rentals at 843-575-5139 or Sudcliffe golf carts at 843-524-6502. Both will deliver and pick up carts from the property.

Welcome to the Merri Shark! Get away from reality at this cozy romantic beach cottage. Or bring the whole gang and make some family memories. Less than a half mile to the beach. That's a quick bike (included) or golf cart ride to sun and fun! Sorry, no amenity card with the home. Pools, restaurants, rentals recreational equipment for members only.

Other Fees
Rates do not include a 11% state/county tax and a 1% island fee. Individual owners/property managers may have additional fees such as cleaning or booking. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
Payments & Policies
Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until the Rental Agreement(s) have been accepted and a deposit received.
Payment Methods
All major credit cards accepted. Also accepted: eCheck (Electronic check).
Cancellation and Refunds
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive 100% refund
Bookings cancelled at least 14 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund
In the case of a Mandatory evacuation of the Island due to hurricane, storms or other, we will accommodate any unused days to another available time, or we will refund the remainder of the rent. To insure your vacation investment we do offer Travel Insurance protection.
